About Rigol
Rigol, or Rigol Technologies, a Chinese manufacturer of electronic test equipment, was founded in 1998. The first product that they released in May 1999 was a high-performance virtual digital storage oscilloscope. The headquarters of the company are currently placed in Beijing, but Rigol also has offices in Cleveland, Ohio, Beaverton, Oregon, or Munich.

Rigol History
The company was originally set up by three college students who dreamed of setting up a studio. They entered the market with test and measurement instruments in 1999 when their first virtual oscilloscope, RVO2100, came out. Later, in 2000, they came up with economical measuring instruments. In 2004, they published a new generation of DS5000 series of oscilloscopes and enter the international level.
Rigol then completed its base in Beijing and in 2006 in won the “Local Innovation Company Award”. After that, Rigol started inventing many successive new products, such as mixed-signal oscilloscope, spectrum analysers with digital intermediate frequency technology, waveform generators and multimeters, and functional and arbitrary waveform generators. In US office was established in 20099 and the European office in 2011. Rigol has also been awarded with many other various awards.
Year 2018 was full of innovations. Firstly, they celebrated the 20th anniversary. New series of digital oscilloscopes and waveform generators were launched. They also came up with the first China´s real-time spectrum analyser, established the Rigol Academy, and the Rigol lab passed the CNAS certification.
