DeWalt is an American worldwide manufacturer of power tools and hand tools for the construction, manufacturing and woodworking industries.

For more than 80 years, DeWALT has built a reputation in the design, construction and manufacture of industrial equipment. In 1923, Raymond DEWALT invented the radial arm saw, which had been the standard for quality and durability for decades. The company itself was founded in 1924 and currently has around 13 000 employees.

Since 1960, its parent company is the well-known Stanley Black & Decker. The company also supports activities outside of the tools and the electricity world such as Nascar races - The DeWalt sponsored For Fusion was driven by Matt Kenseth. The company was also involved in sponsoring of MotoGP in 2010.
