Details: Bosch Wallscanner D-tect 120 Thanks to the patented radar technology from Bosch, the D-tect 120 tracking device can find all types of objects such as water-filled PVC pipes and cables up to a depth of 60 mm and ferrous and non-ferrous metals up to 120 mm.
Depending on the type of material, 3 detection settings are available - drywall, concrete or universal, if the material is unknown. The D-tect 120 is a universal locating device for wooden beams, metal, cables and pipes in walls. Thanks to spot measurement, the tracking device starts detecting objects as soon as it is held against the wall. When an object is found, the LED lights up red. If no object is found, the search icon is displayed and the LED turns yellow to indicate that the user should move the device on the wall to scan it.
A green light indicates that no object was found. Arrows and a signal strength indicator guide the user to the object and make it possible to follow the object (e.g. a cable) in the wall. When the tracking device has located the center of the object, a crosshair appears in the Center Finder display. For more flexibility, the stand location device can be used with a 12 V lithium-ion battery or with AA batteries via the battery adapter. For best results: Make sure that the cable you are looking for is live (i.e. by switching on the light). Take off metal jewelry and take off gloves. Switch off or remove any electronic devices in the vicinity that may interfere with the location. Switch on the device and select the correct detection setting for the application.
