Details
The PLL 2 is a cross line laser with an integrated digital display which shows the angle of the laser line being projected. The cross line laser is ideal for aligning pictures, shelves, light fixtures etc. on a wall. The incline function allows you to do this high level, or at a predefined incline/slope. This means you can have wallpaper, tiles, patterns, etc at any desired angle. The incline function not only makes the PLL 2 ideal for projecting a laser line at a predefined angle, but it can also be used as a spirit level as the incline is displayed on the digital display.
The on/off switch makes it simple to use, you simply switch it on to either locked mode (for the incline function) or unlocked mode (for a self-levelling laser line) and select a cross or individual laser line using the mode button on top.
This product comes with a free 2 year guarantee. In order to extend the warranty from 2 to 3 years, please register your new tool with MyBosch. You can register your tool by visiting manufacturer's site MyBosch-Tools site within 28 days of purchase.
FaQ
Question: What’s the accuracy of the PLL2
Answer: Taken from Bosch's Website: The typical leveling accuracy is ± 0.5 millimeters per meter. To check whether a stove, washing machine or worktop is level, the PLL 2 can also be used as a digital spirit level. A symbol on the left of the display lights up as soon as the “digital spirit level” mode is active.
Question: Can this be used on a angle to aim high. I want to tilt the level to the right height from floor level.
Answer: No. If the device is tilted forwards or backwards by more than a few degrees then the laser turns off.
Question: Can it be used on floors
Answer: If the floor is level yes. It won't do about 5cm or so directly infront of the level however.
Question: Does this come with the tilt bracket that i can attach to a tripod?
Answer: It has a standard 1/4" Whitworth screw fitting for use with a tripod. It doesn't come with any additional bracket.
