  • Real thermal imaging cameras with patented MSX technology give thermal images details of visible light for greater clarity
  • Measure the temperature up to 650 ° C
  • The unique coaxial laser enables the localization of hot or cold spots, which can indicate potential problems
  • Capture and save up to 50,000 MSX thermal and image images in JPG format
  • Robust design with dust and water protection (protection class IP54) and 2-meter drop test

Binding: Tool

Details: Thermal imaging IR thermometer with MSX-enhanced image quality (80 x 60) and coaxial laser

Package dimensions: 12.3 x 9.3 x 4.2 inches

The IRCA series cameras for the infrared long-wave band (LWIR) were created as part of the development for the HDES (Hyperspectral Detection System for Hazardous Substances) project. The cameras were further improved as part of the RODES (Robust Detection System) project. Both projects were elaborated within the framework of MVČR security research projects for the Fire and Rescue Service.

These are cameras operating in the 7-14um band (LWIR). The cameras are adapted for special and scientific purposes and contain functions that none of the cameras on the current market have. In particular, it is a direct access to radiometric data from the sensor, real-time linear pixel correction (offset and gain), the possibility of convolution functions for the core of convolution 3x3 or 5x5, etc.
The cameras are based on the connection of a powerful FPGA and a dual-core ARM processor. The output can be individual images or an image stream. The camera is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet interface for connection to a superior image processing system.

Built with dual visual and visual/thermal (MSX) cameras combined with an IR Thermometer, the Extech IRC130 provides a whole picture of what the eye can’t see. Quickly locate potential issues using the unique coaxial distance-to-spot guidance laser. Store up to 50,000 JPEG files and easily transfer them via USB interface. Providing fast and accurate temperature measurements up to 1202°F (650°C), the IRC130 is a must-have diagnostic tool!
