Details: This newly developed material thickness measuring device is controlled by a microprocessor and works according to the echo / echo ultrasound principle. Thus, the device can use the speed of sound to measure the material thickness of most materials that conduct sound waves, such as metal, glass, plastic, ceramics and many more. In addition to the high resolution of 0.1 mm, the device also offers a self-calibration function via a 4 mm metal plate integrated in the housing for maximum accuracy. The device comes with two sensors for different material thicknesses, which allow measurements from 1 mm to 300 mm at 5 MHz sound frequency. For the best protection, the extensive range of accessories is in an aluminum carrying case. This makes the device ideal for daily use when assessing material thicknesses in shipbuilding, metal and pipeline construction or goods production. +++ SPECIFICATIONS: +++ Measuring range: 1.00 mm… 300.0 mm +++ Basic accuracy +/- (1% H + 0.1mm) +++ Resolution 0.01 mm (1.00… 99.99 mm); 0.1 mm (100.0… 300.0 mm) +++ Speed of sound 1000… 9999 m / s (adjustable) +++ Measuring frequency 5 MHz +++ Operating voltage 3 x 1.5 V AAA batteries
Package dimensions: 11.6 x 7.2 x 3.1 inches
