The Trotec Moisture Meter is designed to detect the moisture in timber or wood, Gib board, or concrete surfaces. Integrated wood menu identifies the types and temperature of the timber. The 2.7 Inch TFT touch screen resists scratches and consists of high contrast graphics for a better view. User-friendly alarm indicates the user of high readings. Glass surface is made from Blanview material, resists scratches and is easy to clean. Surface displays clear readings even at different light settings. Temperature compensation mechanism helps in stabilizing the moisture of the wood when measuring. MultiMeasure studio data management enables the storage of measurements.

Due to the integrated material pre-selection function of the T660 for anhydrite and cement screed, the measurement results can be displayed directly indicatively in mass or CM-% on the color display of the T660. Especially for floor layers, this integrated measurement value conversion is a practical aid for quickly checking the receipt.

How to use TROTEC T660?
Simply hold the T660 against the wall, timber or concrete and the unit will scan (using the capacitance method), up to 40mm from the surface. Where moisture is located, the readings from the meter, which are displayed on the LCD, increase significantly. (Note: Metal also increases the readings of capacitance meters.)
Other functions
A particularly practical advantage is the alarm function. Here an individual limit value is entered into the unit before any measurements are taken. In this way, large wall or floor areas can be measured quickly and effectively. The user can concentrate on the object being measured without having to look constantly at the measurement results on the display. As soon as the pre-defined alarm limit value is exceeded an acoustic warning signal sounds automatically!
For hard to view and reach positions, the "hold" function can be used to lock the reading on the LCD screen.
An optional software package is available for real-time USB moisture distribution graphing.

Due to its permanent real time displaying of the measured value on the easy-to-read display, you can determine damp and dry wall or floor areas rapidly. In addition, the device is suitable for preliminary inspection of the maturity of building materials in CM measurements.
For an immediate evaluation of the measured data, minimum, maximum and average functions are available. In addition the current measured value can be retained by means of the hold function. Since the instrument's screen can display two values, for purposes of results evaluation a function value can be displayed at the same time as the current measured value if required.
PC connectibility
You can connect the T660 moisture meter to a PC with a USB cable.
