• The ultra-high-performance, high-performance Dräger sensors are designed to measure CO, H2S, O2, SO2 and NO2 gases and enable safe use in industry, mining and refineries. Sophisticated hydrogen sulfide sensor has a high resolution, which allows reliable measurements in workplaces with very low limits. The lead-free oxygen sensor with zero energy consumption is characterized in particular by a long service life of more than 5 years. Dräger CO and H2S sensors can also be expected to have a long service life, which contributes to extremely low operating costs.
• The innovative catalytic Ex sensor excels in high resistance to silicone and hydrogen sulfide. In combination with a high degree of functional stability, this resistance enables an extremely long service life of more than 4 years. Its sensitivity to flammable gases and vapors is tested in accordance with the international standard IEC / EN 60079-29-1 from methane to nonane. This approval also proves the suitability of this device for primary explosion protection, for example for use in refineries and the chemical industry.
• The Dräger X-am® 2500 is Ex-Zone 0 approved, making it clear that it has been designed to ensure a high level of user safety in potentially explosive atmospheres. The functional design allows gas to penetrate from above and from the front.
• From functionality testing to comprehensive documentation, users have access to practical solutions that ensure security and can be implemented at any time. The Dräger Bump Test Station without the need for a local power supply and the Dräger X-dock automatic test and calibration station for comprehensive device management are ideal system accessories that save time and labor. Together with the Dräger X-dock, the high-quality Dräger sensors enable a quick performance test (BumpTest) in 8 to 15 seconds1 with very low gas consumption. This significantly reduces the operating costs of your equipment.
• For measuring the content of hazardous substances in tanks and shafts, or for searching for leaks, an optional external pump with a hose length of up to 45 m is the optimal solution. The pump starts automatically when the meter is connected. Switching from diffusion to pumping mode can be done quickly and easily, without the need for tools or screws.
• Thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design, the Dräger X-am 2500 offers a high degree of wearing comfort. The practical two-button control panel and easy menu navigation allow intuitive use of the device despite a wide range of functions. The integrated protective rubber cover and non-shock sensitive sensors provide safe protection against possible falls or vibrations. The Dräger X-am 2500 is also not sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, eg from wireless devices. In accordance with the degree of protection IP 67, the Dräger X-am 2500 is resistant to water and dust, so it remains fully functional even after a possible fall into the water.
• The Dräger X-am 2500 works with both alkaline and rechargeable NiMH batteries. This allows reliable power for more than 12 hours. Depending on the conditions, the batteries can be recharged either in the test room or in the vehicle. Operating time without Ex sensor is usually more than 250 hours.
